The Pretty Reckless’ vocalist Taylor Momsen has shared a new post on the official Instagram account and showed her respect to Van Halen during the self-quarantine days.

People have been trying to protect themselves from the danger of coronavirus and putting themselves in self-quarantine. While doing so, they have been dealing with some mental issues due to being stuck in the house for a long time.

Taylor stated music can be the light in these dark times and affect your mental health positively. Taylor said that she is listening to Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Soundgarden, and Van Halen to get through the self-quarantine days.

While talking about Van Halen, she revealed her personal observation about that band and left a little about them by saying ‘they just put you in a good mood.’

As of writing this, Taylor’s post reached over 12K likes less than a day, and the fans shared their reaction in the comment section of the post.

Here is what Taylor Momsen wrote:

“I can’t stress enough the power of music especially in dark times, listen, play, tap your feet, whatever you can do, just listen to something and be swept away.

Personally I’ve been listening to a lot of classic 50’s rock and roll like Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry, Soundgarden, Van Halen (which just puts you in a good mood), a lot of singer-songwriter stuff, (especially Dylan) and Rage (which always works), etc. It helps ease the doldrums.”

A fan named Daria added this comment:

“For me, it would be The Pretty Reckless that cheers me up when I’m down.”

Another fan named Katlyn said:

“Absolutely! Music is the only thing keeping me sane during all this craziness! 🤘🏼🖤”
