The rock musician and conservative political activist Ted Nugent recently gave an interview to ‘America This Week With Eric Bolling’ in which he said that he considers people protesting police violence to be disrespectful and soulless.

Ted Nugent, who is known for his unending support to Trump, seems to be agreeing with his views considering the people who kneel as a way of protesting police brutality. Neither Trump nor Nugent support protests against police brutality as neither of them believe that it is true.

As you might recall, in 2017, some NFL players started protesting police brutality by taking a knee during the United States National Anthem. This move was both praised by some and harshly criticized by others as disrespectful.

On the 26th of November, during an NFL game, Deshaun Watson from Houston Texans and Matthew Stafford from Detroit Lions, both kneeled during the national anthem. This protest was supported by thousands who appreciated their effort to pay tribute to the people murdered by the police. It was also criticized by thousands as disrespectful, including Donald Trump.

Ted Nugent also shared his views on the police brutality protests, saying that the people who partake in these protests are ‘being real soulless, real stupid.’ He claimed that they don’t understand what happened and that he knows the situation and that’s why he finds these protests stupid.

He went on to say that this protest is based on a lie as ‘nobody’s hands were up, and nobody got shot.’ He added that the protesters also know the truth but they protest anyway because they are liars. Nugent said that these people don’t deserve any respect because they are ‘disrespecting our flag.’

Here’s what Ted Nugent said in the interview when asked how he feels about the players who take kneel during the national anthem:

“Well, it makes me identify those people as being real soulless, real stupid. They don’t even know what they’re doing. They claim that somebody’s hands were up and they got shot. That’s a lie. I know the situation. I’ve studied the situation. Nobody’s hands were up, and nobody got shot.

So the entire premise of that so-called protest is based on a lie. And they can’t be that stupid — they know it’s a lie. They’re just liars. So when you see someone disrespecting our flag, they don’t deserve any respect themselves, and they should be ashamed of themselves.”
