Rock music veteran and former The Damn Yankees member, Ted Nugent, made a new statement on ‘Dad Talk Today’ this week and revealed the exact reason for not being inducted into the ‘Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.’

Back in June last year, Ted made an exclusive interview with Guitar World and stated that being militantly anti-substance abuse and hunting animals are the main reasons for not being selected to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, and this time, he repeated his thoughts to Eric Carroll.

In the interview, hunting, politics, parenting, toxic masculinity, feminism, Rock N’ Roll, The Hall Of Fame, and once again, he stated that being a National Rifle Association member is the only reason he won’t be selected as a Hall Of Fame anytime soon. Uncle Ted also revealed that he’s not angry and not hurt because of it.

Here is what he said about not inducted into the Hall Of Fame:

“For a couple of simple reasons: ’cause I’m on the board of directors of the NRA and I’m anti-dope. Everybody there hates the NRA and doesn’t think you should be able to defend yourself, and they’re all on dope. That’s it in a nutshell. But you know what? Even as I’m responding — I’m not angry and I’m not hurt — I don’t take it personally.”

He continued calling Little Richard and Chuck Berry:

“How dare you call it the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame when you have the gods of musical genius like Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and then you put in Patti Smith, Grandmaster Flash, ABBA, but not Ted Nugent? You just lost all credibility.”
