The iconic Rock music veteran and well-known pro-gun political activist, Ted Nugent, shared a new photo on his verified Instagram page today and celebrated the Memorial Day of all United States citizens.

As you may know, the United States will honor and mourn the military personnel who died in service on May 31, 2021. That federal holiday is being celebrated on last Monday in May every single year since 1868.

As a die-hard patriot of the United States military, Ted Nugent took his verified Instagram account today to mourn the late military members, Ted stated that he’s remembering who served and gave all, and people need to teach their children to make them prepared to stand strong against evil.

Here is what Nugent wrote in the caption:

“Before you BBQ this weekend, teach your children to remember the dead. Teach them those sacrifices or how we got here. Tell them the gory details of the Alamo and why we are not Mexican slaves. Tell them the horrors of Pearl Harbor.
Teach them about those who died on Iwo Jima. Teach them about those who gave all on the Normandy beaches on June 6 1944. Teach them to remember those 58,000 heroes who died in the jungles of Viet Nam. Teach them about those who died in Afghanistan and Iraq. Teach them to remember those who gave their last full measure at the frozen Chosin Reservoir.

Teach them to remember those who died on the hallowed fields of Gettysburg. Teach them about those who died at Belleau Wood. Teach them to remember those who perished at Lexington and Concord. Teach them that their very freedoms have been paid for by those American warriors who gave all. Teach them these things on this Memorial Day weekend & to be prepared to stand strong against evil.”
