Ted Nugent, the famous rock veteran and conservative political activist, has taken Facebook to imply the results of the 2020 presidential election of most of the states are impure and the platform tagged his post, showing the data of some website, as false information.
One of the greatest supporters of Donald Trump and a quite active social media personality, Ted Nugent, has kept up with the results of the contentious election hour by hour, as it was expected.
Nugent has recently shared the results, revealed by a website called ‘Real Clear Politics,’ clearly displaying that there’s a cheat since the number of the registered votes is lesser than the projected votes.
Ted Nugent, who embellished the screenshots of the data from the website with the renowned quotes of some leaders as Winston Churchill, George Washington, and Joseph Stalin, has stirred up his fans to stand up for their votes.
However, right after he shared the results of the website, Nugent was imposed a negative sanction by Facebook. All of the posts that he shared on the same day were tagged with ‘Partly False Information‘ warning. As you may remember, back in the weeks, Nugent has revealed that the platform censors him hourly every day.
The new feature of Facebook and Instagram, the ‘Partly False Information’ tag, was described by the platform as an act to fight the spread of misinformation.
In many countries and regions, the social media platforms work with independent, third-party fact-checking organizations who are certified through the non-partisan International Fact-Checking Network to identify, review, and take action on this content.
The focus of this fact-checking program is identifying and addressing viral misinformation, particularly clear hoaxes that have no basis in fact. Fact-checking partners prioritize provably false claims, especially those that are timely or trending and important to the average person.
