Rock veteran Ted Nugent’s wife, the famous fitness instructor Shemane Nugent, recently posted a video on her Instagram account and revealed that she has been working on her fifth book in which she will talk about her journey from being on the verge of dying to recovery.
As you may recall, at the beginning of the 2000s, the Nugent family was diagnosed with toxic mold poisoning which they contracted from their house, and Shemane was even hospitalized. They all experienced chronic fatigue, trouble breathing, flu-like symptoms, and even short-term memory loss.
As Shemane was the one who stayed home the most, paying bills and editing the Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild TV show, she was the one who was affected the most. She checked herself in at the Environmental Health Center in Dallas (EHCD) for a month and received extensive medical treatment.
In her recent Instagram post, Shemane talked about how writing has helped her to create an effective outlet to express her thoughts and ideas ‘and to educate and inspire others about healing their mind, body, and spirit.’ She also said that she has been working on a new book in which she’s going to talk about her experience surviving toxic mold exposure and give healthy lifestyle tips and even recipes.
Here’s what Shemane says in the video:
“Writing gives me a creative and effective outlet to share my thoughts and dreams and to educate and inspire others about healing their mind, body, and spirit. Happy [their dog] likes it too.”
This is what Shemane Nugent said in the caption of her recent Instagram post:
“Writing gives me a creative and effective outlet to share my thoughts and dreams and to educate and inspire others about healing their mind, body, and spirit. During these troubling times, start a journal if you haven’t already. Why not write a book, or two?! Because I got sick and almost died from toxic mold exposure, I feel obligated to share how to recover and remediate. I’ll include healthy lifestyle tips and recipes too! Are you a writer, or would you like to become one? What are your favorite genres?”
