The Beatles legend Ringo Starr has posted a recent photo on his verified Instagram page today and announced the release of his latest book which contains a collection of Ringo’s art and inspiration.
According to the official website of The Beatles legend, %100 of Ringo’s proceeds will benefit The Lotus Foundation which supports and funds in diverse fields like substance abuse, cerebral palsy, brain tumors, and battered women. The Lotus Foundation was founded by Ringo himself back in 2004.
While Ringo made the promotion of his latest book named ‘Painting Is My Madness Too’ on his latest post, he also stated that he will have a meat-free Monday. As you may remember, Ringo Starr had announced that he became vegetarian after attending a bullfight in Spain. Also, in 2016, Starr said that he became an ‘all-organic vegan’ but it seems that he did not want to continue that way.
While Ringo Starr’s latest Instagram post was liked by over 50K people, one of the users who pushed the like button was the most silent member of Mötley Crüe who rarely uses his social media accounts, Mick Mars.
Here is what Ringo Starr wrote in his latest caption:
“Peace and love everybody I’m having a fine Saturday. Getting ready for super Sunday. Getting ready for meat-free marvelous Monday.
Peace and love. 😎✌️🌟❤️🦏🕺🏼🥦🌈☮️”
