The legendary member of The Beatles, Paul McCartney had a recent conversation with Albert Lincoln Roker Jr. and revealed how did they deal with tiring and arguing as The Beatles.
Paul said that they got over everything by playing and staying as a band.
Here is his statement, transcribed by Alternative Nation.
“We always used to say whatever was happening in the world, if we were tired, on tour, or if we’d argued about something, the minute we sat down to play as a band: ‘1, 2, 3, 4.’
It was like, ‘Yeah.’ There was a great comfort playing together.
I always expected everyone to be my age basically, but then you get them, and their kids, and now their kids, so you’ve pretty much got three generations.
I love that three generations can have something in common. That’s something very special.”
