On Twitter, the daughter of British rock and blues guitarist Eric Clapton, Ruth Clapton-Bartlet, posted the photo of Clapton’s son Conor who died in a tragic accident at the age of five in honor of his birthday.

As you might recall, the guitar legend Eric Clapton had a son named Conor from his relationship with Italian actress Lory del Santo. On March 20, 1991, Conor passed away at the age of four after falling from the 53rd-floor window of a New York City apartment. According to the police reports, the housekeeper left the bedroom window open which eventually caused the tragic accident.

Following a period of isolation, Eric Clapton wrote his iconic song ‘Tears In Heaven‘ describing the aftermath of the loss of his little son. The song, which appeared in the 1991 film ‘Rush,’ won three Grammy Awards for ‘Best Male Pop Vocal Performance’, ‘Song of the Year,’ and ‘Record of the Year.’

Recently on Twitter, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett posted the photo of her little brother, Conor Clapton, who tragically passed away at the age of five. On the caption of his post, Ruth celebrated Conor’s birthday and mentioned he would be in the heart of his family forever.
