Maynard James Keenan is the lead vocalist of the metal band Tool which was formed in 1990. The Grammy-winning band has produced chart-topping albums and performed worldwide shows during their successful career. As of today, the band has released one EP, one box set, and five studio albums.

Following their first tours in the early ’90s, Tool also performed at several world tours and major festivals. One of these was the Voodoo Fest, which was held back in 2001, between October 26 and October 28.

Considering the history of lineups of the Voodoo Fest, it shouldn’t be surprising that the event included a handful of renowned artists from all genres. John Mayer, The Black Crowes, Missy Elliott, Bush, and Snoop Dogg were some of the headliners of the festival at that time.

Snoop Dogg And Maynard James Keenan Appeared In The Same Photograph

The Voodoo Fest also brought Snoop Dogg and Tool together on October 27, 2001. As the two make music in quite different genres, fans could not believe it when they saw Maynard James Keenan and Snoop Dogg posing together for a photograph.

Although there were rumors about the photo being photoshopped, apparently it was not. The photograph dated back to 2001 when the pair met while at The Voodoo Experience.

Maynard was also present near the stage during Snoop Dogg’s performance, which was clearly another unusual sight. Considering that it is the only photo Tool’s frontman Maynard and Snoop Dogg have together, it is no surprise that the fans thought it was photoshopped.
