Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge revealed the latest health status of Mark Hoppus by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.
Mark announced in June 2021 that he was diagnosed with cancer, a stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and had been undergoing chemotherapy for the last three months. Earlier this month, Mark got his fifth round of chemotherapy, and the treatment has been going well.
Then, he revealed there are only two rounds of chemotherapy left and excited everyone with his positive attitude. Even though Mark hasn’t shared any updates about his health since then, it is probably because of how hard the last two sessions would go, as Mark mentioned in his latest post on Instagram.
However, his long-time friend and bandmate Tom DeLonge gave an update about Mark’s health status and stated that he is almost done with the treatment, which could mean that he received one more chemo session and has one last round to go through. Furthermore, Tom pointed out that people should send him love during this challenging period and help him overcome the devastating disease with the last stretch of the treatment.
Tom DeLonge on Mark Hoppus’ current health status:
“Mark Hoppus is almost done with his treatment… send him love to power him through this last stretch!”
