Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has shared a new photo on his official Instagram account and saddened after the death of his greatest childhood hero, former Harlem Globetrotter Fred ‘Curly’ Neal.

One of the greatest Harlem Globetrotters of all time Fred ‘Curly’ Neal died Thursday at age 77 in Houston.

After his death, Morello hopped to Instagram to pay his tribute to Curly Neal and showed his respect with an emotional condolence message. In the message, he described the late basketball icon as a magician and his childhood hero.

Here’s what Tom Morello wrote:

“Rest In Peace Harlem Globetrotter Curly Neal. One of the great heroes of my youth and an absolute magician with the basketball.”
