Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello celebrated the birthday of American abolitionist John Brown by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.

As you might already know, John Brown is an abolitionist leader who thinks that violence was necessary to end American slavery. In 1859, Brown died after hanged in prison at the age of 59.

While sharing a picture of Brown, Tom also celebrated the birthday of him and shared his feelings about Brown. Tom called Brown as hero and showed how a strong person he was.

According to Tom, Brown was an unapologetic, unafraid, and uncompromising person and said that he was against slavery and white supremacy, which is why he looks up to him so much.

Here is what Tom Morello said:

“Happy birthday John Brown. Unapologetic, unafraid, uncompromising abolitionist hero who confronted slavery & white supremacy with the righteous sword of justice and a lightning strike of freedom.”
