Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello took his official Instagram account to share a new post and revealed the political activist that he got inspired a lot.
Walter Rodney was a Guyanese historian and politician. He became a prominent Pan-Africanist as well as being important for the Black Power movement. In June 1980, he was assassinated in Guyana.
As we all know that Tom has been loud about politics and human rights, he also talks about the politicians, writers, activists that he got inspired by. This time, he wanted to talk about Walter Rodney.
While Tom was sharing the works Walter that he got inspired a lot, ‘Apartheid Era Student Movements In South Africa’ and ‘How Europe Underdeveloped Africa,’ he also pointed out that people should read his books to understand why things are the way they are.
