Mötley Crüe drummer and founding member Tommy Lee collaborated with rapper Machine Gun Kelly on a new song called ‘Climb’ in the horror musical podcast ‘Halloween in Hell’ which has just officially released.
‘Halloween in Hell‘ is a four-part mini-series that has gathered an all-star lineup of the music industry for a genre-busting musical podcast. The show featured artists like pop culture icon Machine Gun Kelly, musician Dana Dentata, and 24kGoldn.
The format of the podcast is basically like a singing contest on stage in which the ‘devil’ ultimately decide the rules and change them as the competition goes. Only one singer ‘survives’ unless the competitors collaborate together.
One of the tracks from the recent Machine Gun Kelly featuring Halloween in Hell podcast titled ‘Climb’ has just officially been released, and it’s a collaboration that includes Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. The song is an interesting infusion which both rap and rock fans will admire.
Here’s what Machine Gun Kelly stated about the podcast:
“Jared Gutstadt (CEO of Audio Up Media) came to me with the whole vision and script. I just lent my voice. It’s sick to hear a podcast with sound design and a score/soundtrack like it’s a movie, and I like that the writer had the other characters, who are also my homies in real life, crack jokes on me whenever they could in the episodes.”
