Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee’s wife Brittany Furlan posted a video of herself while having a panic attack on Instagram and shared her terrifying experience with the followers, who might have been suffering from similar problems, to encourage them for seeking help.

As you might remember, Tommy Lee‘s wife and social media influencer Brittany Furlan Lee revealed that she had been suffering from panic attacks during her podcast named ‘Worst Frists With Brittany Furlan: Brittany Had a Panic Attack & Discusses Mental Health.‘ She explained her long going struggles with mental issues and urged her fans who suffered from similar problems to seek help.

Additionally, a few days ago, Brittany posted the video of the pop icon Lady Gaga revealing her personal struggles with mental health and thanked her for being open about the issues most people hesitated to talk about.

Recently on Instagram, Brittany Furlan Lee posted a video of herself having a panic attack almost a week ago. As you can see in the video below, Brittany was shivering nonstop and having trouble speaking. On the caption of her video, she shared the details of her terrifying experience and wanted to encourage her followers who might have similar problems to realize that they were not alone in this. Brittany also urged them not to be afraid of being judged and seek help from their loved ones.

Here’s how Brittany Furlan explained her frightening experience on the caption of her post:

Trigger Warning: this is a very vulnerable post and I don’t want to trigger anyone who has an anxiety disorder so please do not watch if you find yourself easily triggered. On this week’s podcast, I share in-depth info about my struggle with anxiety.

This is footage of me having a panic attack a week ago, my heart rate skyrocketed to 165bpm and I was unable to stop shivering. Nothing happened to trigger this particular attack, I was simply asleep and woke up to my heart pounding against my chest. It scares the living hell out of me and this is probably one of the most frightening ones I’ve ever had.

I wanted to share this very private moment because I wanted people to realize that anxiety does not care how wonderful your life is, how happy you are, how much money you make, or where you are in your life.

I have panic disorder and health anxiety, and although I may look like I am “living the life” on Instagram I struggle daily. I am very grateful for the things that I have found that help me cope: my CBD, therapy, meditation, my very caring doctor @afshineemrani, my antidepressant, Valium (only for emergencies because it’s addictive) but there is not a cure, merely just ways to help you live as normal a life as possible.

I have been having these attacks since I was about seven years old. My heart feels like it’s on a roller coaster and my chest hurts all day every day but I continue to fight. Because I love life. And I am so grateful for every single minute here. So if you are dealing with this as well I just want you to know that you aren’t alone, you aren’t crazy; this is a very real condition and there are a lot of us out there that deal with this. Sending you all so much love. Thank you for letting me share my truth 🖤 Link to the episode in my bio
