Black Sabbath legend and also one of the band’s co-founders, Tony Iommi, has been recently interviewed by ‘Consequence of Sound’s Greg Prato and revealed the result after having a coronavirus vaccine and blood test this week.

You might already remember from Tony’s whole career that he had many different health issues during his whole life. From 2012 to 2014, Tony Iommi has struggled to fight lymphoma and had successful surgery in the same year. In 2013, Black Sabbath had to postpone their 2013 tour to let Tony to return England to continue his treatment. While Tony admitted that his cancer was in remission, later on, he stated that the lump wasn’t cancerous.

In his latest interview with Greg Prato, Tony Iommi explained how he’s doing during the lockdown days and shared the current health status after having the COVID-19 vaccine. Tony admitted that at the age of 73, there is always a chance that something may pop up but he’s doing okay.

Here is what he said:

“Hopefully okay. Funny enough, I had a blood test yesterday, and I also had my COVID virus vaccine jab yesterday, as well. I always have myself checked over regularly and try to keep on top of anything that might pop up.

Of course, at my age, things pop up. But I feel fine and everything seems to be — touch wood — going all right at the moment.”
