Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi took to his official Twitter account to share a new post and mourned the death of legendary producer Martin Birch while revealing his feelings.

Martin was one of the unique people that had a chance to work with bands like Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath. Unfortunately, he passed away two days ago at the age of 71.

As you might already o, Martin had worked for the iconic albums like Iron Maiden’s ‘Fear Of The Dark,’ Deep Purple’s ‘Machine Head,’ Black Sabbath’s both ‘Heaven And Hell’ and ‘Mob Rules’ albums. With these pieces of art, Martin left his legacy into this world.

Tony mourned the death of Martin while sharing his deepest feelings and said that he is so sad to hear this news. Also, Tony stated that Martin was a lovely person and a great producer and paid his tribute to another legend while praying for his soul.

“So shocked to hear the sad news of Martin Birch’s passing.

Martin was a lovely guy and a great producer. He produced Heaven and Hell and The Mob Rules for Sabbath. He will be deeply missed and my thoughts go out to his family. R.I.P.”
