One of the greatest metal bands in the world, Tool, made a new announcement on Instagram and revealed that they postponed their tour due to the coronavirus concern.

COVID-19, known as coronavirus, is a highly contagious disease that has been spreading all around the world. So far, over 1M cases have confirmed by the authorities, and most of the events, tours, meetings are postponed or canceled because of this pandemic

As you might remember, Tool was one of those bands that postponed the tours because of the pandemic. On March 18, 2020, they decided to delay their Spring 2020 North American Tour.

Today, Tool shared a new update about this tour and announced that the remainder of this tour postponed a further date. Also, they revealed their feelings about this decision.

Here is the statement of the Tool:

“Friends, we hope you and your loved ones are doing as well as possible given the difficult time we all find ourselves in.

As the spread of COVID-19 continues we have made the difficult decision to postpone the remainder of our previously announced Spring 2020 performances. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performances, which we hope to be able to announce soon. Stay home, stay healthy and please, wash your hands. “

A fan named Lindsay Willard said:

“Can we please have the option for refunds for those of us who cannot make it to the future dates?”

Another fan named Logan Doe wrote:

“Rescheduled is infinitely better than canceled. Everyone has to do what they have to do. I will see you in Minneapolis when you return. Stay safe. 🤘🏽”
