Tool shared a new post on Instagram to announce the release of ‘Lateralus’ merchandise in the 20th anniversary of its release.
Lateralus is the third studio album of Tool that released back in 2001, featuring Schism, Parabola, and self-titled song Lateralus. Also, the album peaked on top of the US Billboard 200 charts in a short time after the release.
While Tool was announcing the merchandise release of this album in order to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the fans were disappointed and not satisfied with the way Tool was celebrating this special day.
There were lots of people in the comments that wanted to see a reprint of Lateralus vinyl as they did in 2005. Unfortunately, Tool is yet to make an announcement about the long-waited vinyl.
Here is the announcement from Tool:
“Commemorate the 20th anniversary of Lateralus with new, exclusive merch.”
One of the fans of Tool wrote:
“You know what would make the 20th anniversary really special? A reprint of Lateralus on vinyl.”
Another fan of the band added this comment:
“Great. A tool… Glass… Why release 10k days on vinyl? Give the people what they want. Glasses, pillows, maybe a snow globe next?”
