The multitalented frontman of Tool and Puscifer, Maynard James Keenan posted a photo on Puscifer’s Instagram account a month later to mute its social media account again, but this time it was for an important cause.

The demonstrations to stop the police violence and racism have been continuing increasingly after the tragic death of George Floyd. While some celebrities physically participated in the protests, many of them showed their support via social media platforms.

Yesterday, a social media challenge called ‘Blackout Tuesday‘ was announced and it attracted many people from all around the world. The participants had to mute their own Instagram posts for a while and share a black-colored background photo. The challenge aimed to raise awareness of the recent racial discrimination and violence issues in America.

Tool legend Maynard James Keenan was also among the participants of the Instagram challenge. He broke his social media silence after a month and posted a black-colored background photo on his Instagram account, ‘Puscifer,’ to show his support for the protests.

However, Keenan didn’t write any caption to his post and muted the comments section.
