On Twitter, a fan named Lenore has posted the first page of Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan’s autograph called A Perfect Union of Contrary Things and asked a question over a little detail on the page.

In the tweet, Lenore is mentioning Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan and wanted to learn if the scribble on the first page was Maynard’s real signature.

Maynard stopped in the comment section and destroyed the fan’s hopes by saying that the signature doesn’t belong to him. You can check out the conversation below.

Lenore tweeted:

“So I bought myself this book on amazon as a sympathy gift for missing the Tool show in Orlando on Maynard’s birthday due to COVID-19. The ad said it had a scribble on the front cover. Maynard James Kenaan anyway this is your autograph sir?”

MJK answered:

“No. Not my autograph.”

Lenore also replied to:

“A reply is kinda better than an autograph anyway. Thanks! Glad to be starting the book.”
