Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash‘s girlfriend, Meegan Hodges posted a photo of Slash on Instagram taken in a previous show in Paris and revealed that touring of the band wasn’t possible another year.
As you might recall, the legendary band Guns N’ Roses was getting ready for their 2020 tour which consisted of 44 shows in total. However, due to the global pandemic of coronavirus, the band had to reschedule the dates of their tour.
Slash’s long-time girlfriend Meegan Hodges has been joining her boyfriend for the tours and taking pictures of the band which she often shares on her Instagram account.
Recently, Meegan posted another photo of Slash on stage on Instagram taken three years ago in the Paris show of Guns N’ Roses. On the caption of her post, Hodges mentioned how much she missed traveling with the band and she was looking forward to the Covid-19 pandemic to be over.
Furthermore, as a part of the Guns N’ Roses family, Meegan revealed that there was no possibility of touring for the band for at least another year. Lastly, she urged her followers to be cautious about the pandemic and follow the instructions recommended by the officials.
Here’s what Meegan Hodges stated on the caption of her Instagram post:
“3 years ago today in Paris. I look forward till we are in a place to travel again and the pandemic is behind us.
Realistically touring is not gonna happen for at least a year but let’s try to speed that up by flattening the spread of this cootie, Covid-19. Wear a mask, wash your hands, social distancing, and follow the common-sense rules. Please👏🏻🙏🏽”
