In a recent interview with Ultimate Guitar, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider answered some questions about Billie Eilish and her awards in alternative rock categories: ‘I don’t know anything about her.’

The iconic frontman of Twisted Sister, Dee Snider joined a conversation for Ultimate Guitar and talked about young musicians and the fact that Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame welcomed some non-rock performers in the past.

Initially, Dee mentioned how he had been feeling about Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame:

“Oh, well, you know, ‘angry’ is a useless word. I’m saying this for the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame: from its inception, it had one title but it was never going to be.

From the first inductees – about rock and roll – just the way that Hard Rock restaurants and hotels aren’t actually about hard rock. You know, they use the name, they use the term. And I know that the people who were running the show were these elitists within the rock community, so you had to pass their approval.”

Furthermore, the legendary vocalist answered some questions about the young musician Billi Eilish and claimed that he didn’t even know who she was:

I don’t know anything about her. I mean, she can do her thing – I don’t really care. There’s so much great metal to listen to – old and new – to spend time listening to music that doesn’t appeal to me.

I always jokingly say, I don’t know what my parents did to me that I just really love heavy music, and it needs to be heavy.

And I love the ’50s, and I love Motown, RnB, and I love blues, but at the end of the day, it’s got rock, so unless it’s powerful, I don’t want to spend much time with it.”
