Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar posted a photo of himself on Instagram from a 1983 concert with his band Hagar Schon Aaronson Shrieve and revealed his wife Kari was also in the audience 10 years before they met.

The iconic vocalist Sammy Hagar had his first marriage with Betsy Berardi back in 1968. The couple had two sons, Aaron and Andrew. After 26 years of marriage, they got divorced in 1994. Later in 1995, Sammy got married to his current wife Kari and they have two lovely daughters, Kama and Samantha.

Recently on Instagram, Sammy Hagar posted a photo of himself taken during a live performance with his band named Hagar Schon Aaronson Shrieve in 1983. On the caption of his post, Hagar mentioned the photo was taken one of the 11 shows they did while recording their album ‘Through the Fire.’

Here’s what Sammy Hagar described his memory with HSAS:

Throwback to 1983, one of the 11 shows HSAS did while recording ‘Through the Fire’ and supporting the school districts in NorCal for their art and sports programs which were defunded by Proposition 13.

The live album was recorded on November 9-21 that year. We played 2 or 3 nights in each city: San Francisco, Marin, San Jose, Sacramento, Stockton.”

In the comment section of the photo, his fans also shared their memories with the legendary musician back in the early years of his music career.

A fan named Larry Addison commented:

“My first concert 8/83 Cal Expo Y&T, SRV, and The Red Rocker 🤘😆🤘 I had just turned 13.

As a response, Sammy Hagar revealed that his wife Kari was actually at that concert among the audience 10 years before they first met and wrote:

So crazy Kari my wife was at that show as well and I didn’t meet her Till 10 years later
