Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar’s daughter, Kama Hagar, has posted a new photo of herself on her official Instagram account, making a bold confession about her relationships.

In the statement, Kama mentioned the struggles of being in a relationship and encouraged her fans for getting over the fear of rejection.

Kama also paid attention to her latest blog article in which she revealed what she has learned about persistence, success and how to help get over that hump.

Here’s what Kama Hagar wrote:

“Persistence. I started realizing I needed to work on my relationship with this word when I started noticing how quickly I was to shut myself down upon first rejection. ‘Oh, you said no? Okay! I totally get it! No worries, I’ll get out of your hair, your life, this planet and you’ll never hear from me ever again! Sorry!! Bye!’

I’m learning to not let my fear of rejection hold me back from asking and re-asking for what I’m wanting – even when everything in me feels like hiding in a corner and burying myself alive.

Anybody with me? And you know what’s crazy? After the tension subsides, it feels so good. It’s like honoring my damn self. It’s like: ‘I am worthy.’ If this is something you struggle with, read my latest blog on what I’ve learned about persistence, success and how to help get over that hump.”

An Instagram fan named karadickey commented and said:

“Truth.”

Another fan named redrocker_girl wrote:

“❤️ Persistence is an acquired behavior for sure. Good for you for pursuing things you consider that you Maybe lacking in. Self-introspection is hard but so worth it!❤️”

PERSISTENCE. I started realizing I needed to work on my relationship to this word when I started noticing how quickly I was to shut myself down upon first rejection. “Oh, you said no? Okay!
