As we all know, son of Eddie Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen is working on his first solo album for a while. In fact, we’ve been getting information about his solo works since last three years.

Today, Wolfgang Van Halen has shared two new updates about songwriting process of his debut album.

Back on December 2017, he posted a mini video as a little taste of his solo works on Twitter. A fan responded to video today, and Wolf gave new information about his works.

A fan named Mswanson300 asked:

“Great tone, Wolf. Are you on guitar and bass?”

Wolfgang responded:

“Hey thanks! Yes! Drums as well”

Fan wrote again:

“Damn, dude… that’s fantastic! The best part to me is despite all the work you’ve done with your dad and uncle, you’ve really got your own sound going on here.

I can hear the influences, but you’ve got your own “voice.” Keep up the great work and best of luck to ya.”

Wolfgang responded, and mentioned about the possible release date of the album:

“Thank you! Very excited to get this stuff out there when the time is right ✌️”

Back on December 2018, rock journalist Eddie Trunk has claimed that Van Halen will reunite with the lineup of David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony, Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen.
