Eddie Van Halen’s son and bass guitarist of the Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen, has shared a new post on his official Instagram account and confirmed the new album of the band.
Five months ago, TMZ revealed that Eddie Van Halen has been diagnosed with throat cancer and going under treatment.
Despite this horrible disease that Eddie Van Halen has been struggling, his son and Van Halen bassist, Wolfgang, will release his new solo album. And he confirmed this information on social media.
He agreed with Explorer1 Music Group and producer Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette to make this project perfect. Also, the album name, release date, and any other details haven’t been announced yet.
Here is what Wolfgang Van Halen said:
“I’ve always loved the whole Dave Grohl story of how he started Foo Fighters and just did a whole demo album by himself. I’d love to do that
I feel like I can play drums, bass, guitar, kinda sing, I guess. I can kinda decide whatever I want to do. I feel like it’s just kind of open-ended. I definitely would like to be a drummer in a band at some point. There’s no limit, really”
“It’s been a long time coming and I can’t wait for everyone to hear what I’ve been working on.”
A fan named Felipe Reyes was wondering and asked a question on Wolfgang’s Instagram post:
“Can we expect some family members as special guests?”
Wolfgang’s mother Valerie Bertinelli said:
“I could not be more proud 💖”
Another fan named Marq Laurenz added this comment:
“Congratulations Wolf! Excited for this!! 🤘⚡️🤘”
