The legendary heavy metal band Mötley Crüe formed in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Since the beginning of their career, each member faced various challenges mostly due to their wild lifestyles, however, they achieved to carry their friendship and the band to this day.

Recently, the iconic vocalist Vince Neil posted a tweet to celebrate his bandmate and dear friend Tommy Lee’s 58th birthday calling him his brother. Following his tweet, Vince posted a throwback photo with Tommy as a part of his birthday message.

Here’s what Vince Neil stated in his recent tweet:

“Wishing my brother Tommy Lee a very Happy Birthday!!!”

However, Mötley Crüe fans focused on another detail related to Vince’s gesture. Apparently, the two icons were not following each other on social media even though they were bandmates and close friends for a long time.

Although Neil’s post proved that they didn’t have any issue in their friendship, fans were still curious about the reason why they prefer not to follow each other’s social media accounts. You can see the tweets Vince Neil posted on his Twitter account below.
