As we reported, Tye Trujillo temporarily playing bass guitar with Korn for their South American tour. Korn’s original bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu can’t play in this tour due to unexpected reasons.
Recently, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo joined his 12-year-old son Tye onstage with Korn at the Vivo X el Rock festival in Lima, Peru. They played Korn’s classic “Blind”. You can watch it from below.
Korn’s guitarist Munky explained his thoughts on Tye Trujillo in an interview NME and he said:
“He knows, like, seventeen, eighteen Korn songs, and he knows them really well — it’s crazy. All the stops, and the breaks… It’s crazy to see somebody that young so talented. He’s gonna be a professional musician, and to know that at that early of an age is just inspiring.”
