During the new episode of AC/DC Beyond The Thunder podcast, Motörhead’s late icon Lemmy Kilmister‘s posthumous interview was revealed and his thoughts about AC/DC.

Motörhead‘s frontman Lemmy Kilmister had been suffering from several diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and later prostate cancer. Only four days after his 70th birthday, on December 28, 2015, Lemmy passed away in his Los Angeles apartment.

In a recent episode of ‘AC/DC Beyond The Thunder‘ podcast, which was introduced as a podcast where ‘extraordinary fans salute this extraordinary band’, an interview made before Lemmy’s death was revealed. Apparently, Lenny took a date of his to the backstage of an AC/DC concert to impress her.

During the interview, Lemmy revealed what he had been really thinking about AC/DC and stated:

“AC/DC is a rock and roll band; they’re like us. We don’t play metal. AC/DC don’t play metal. We’re like birds of a feather. AC/DC has become an international event.”
