During a recent interview with St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus has shared new update on possible new album for Guns N’ Roses.

Fortus has revealed that who’s responsible for they’re not working on a new studio album right now.

Here’s the statement:

“Slash is on tour [with his solo group] right now. Once he gets back from that, we’re gonna get some more recording done and hopefully get an album out soon. And then we’ll get back to touring.”

Back in August 2018, Slash was interviewed by Classic Rock Magazine, and that time he confirmed that he’s working on new materials for upcoming Guns N’ Roses album.

He stated:

“Well, it’s not been announced because there’s nothing official, so there’s nothing to talk about.

I think everybody thinks it’s a good idea, and everybody would like to do it. There’s no shortage of ideas from everybody involved, but we’ve been so busy on the road there hasn’t really been time to go in and sit down and go, ‘Okay, we’re going to make a record.’”
