On Instagram, one of the fan pages dedicated to Queen legend, Freddie Mercury, revealed Freddie’s thoughts about iconic star George Micheal: “I could have done it better!“
The fan account on Instagram named freddie_mrcry shared a photo of the two legends, Freddie Mercury and George Michael, and wrote about an unknown fact. Apparently, Freddie wanted to sing with the late icon Aretha Franklin.
Freddie was furious with George Michael who had the chance to make a duet with Aretha. Even though he was jealous of him working with Aretha, Freddie was also stated that he loved George Michael and his amazing music.
Here’s what Freddie was thinking about George Michael and his talent:
“I’d love Aretha to sing Somebody To Love, actually… But as for me trying to sing with her? Well, she hasn’t approached me yet! I’m mad that George Michael did a duet with her. I could have done it better!”
Furthermore, he mentioned his admiration for George Michael’s music:
“Mind you, having said that I love George Michael. He has a very good voice and a sense of dignity, too. He’s one of the singers that I like.”
