As you may know, Van Halen‘s co-founder and lead guitarist Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6, 2020, after a long and vicious batte with cancer. Eddie’s son and the youngest member of Van Halen, Wolfgang gave the sad news of his father’s death with a statement he posted on social media platformns.
Since Wolfgang’s statement, rock music community has been mourning after the death of the guitar legend. Eddie’s fans and friends have been sharing their favorite memories with the guitarist on social media.
However, some people and news agencies have been triying to take advantage of Van Halen’s death by attracting his fans’ attention with various articles full of misleading information. Eddie’s son Wolfgang often reacts to these sort of news about his father by exposing them on social media.
Recently, Wolfgang Van Halen took his Twitter account to clarify another rumor about his father’s last will. According to an article published by People, Eddie was using CBD Oil as a part of his cancer treatment during the very last months of his life.
In his tweet, Wolfgang lashed out at the people responsible for the misleading article about his father by calling them ‘soulless fuckers.’ He accused them for ‘taking advantage of this horrible stiutation’ and denied their claims about Eddie and his usage of CBD Oil.
Here’s what Wolfgang Van Halen stated:
“Hey, I’ve gotten enough messages about this shit so I figured I’d do my best to shut it down.
This CBD oil thing going around is a scam. Another batch of soulless fuckers taking advantage of this horrible situation just to make a quick buck. Fucking assholes.”
