The founder of Mammoth WVH, Wolfgang Van Halen, recently posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account and announced a new radio project that he has been working on which was well received by his fans.
As you may recall Eddie Van Halen passes away on October 6, 2020, and his passing was mourned by millions but was especially hard for his family. While his father was still alive, Wolf found a creative outlet that helped him cope with his father’s illness. Wolf started writing a song while imagining how his life would be without Eddie.
Upon Eddie’s passing Wolfgang released his debut solo song ‘Distance‘ on November 16, 2020, as a tribute to his father, friend, and bandmate. The hit song ranked Number 1 in numerous categories on the Billboard charts and even surpassed AC/DC who had released an album around that time. After the release of his song, Wolf announced that he has been working on his first album.
In the meantime, it seems like Wolf has also been busy doing other things. With his recent Instagram post, he revealed that he has curated a playlist on iHeart Radio and advised his fans to check it out. While some thanked him for the great playlist, others could not prevent themselves from pointing out how much Wolfgang looks like Eddie.
Here’s what Wolf said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:
“I curated a playlist for @iHeart Radio! Hit the link in my bio to check it out✌️”
This is what a fan commented:
“The V and your resemblance to your Dad looks awesome! Well done on the photo! 🤘”
Another one said:
“Wow. I always thought you looked more like your Momma but not here. The resemblance to your father here is unreal. Great picture!”
