Late guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang Van Halen revealed how he manages to keep going during a recent appearance on People Magazine.
As you might already know, Eddie Van Halen passed away due to a stroke in October 2020 after having lots of problems with his health, and Wolfgang announced that there will be no Van Halen without Eddie.
Later on, Wolfgang revealed that he will release a solo album after teasing about it for months, Mammoth WVH, and also shared a song from the album in honor of Eddie, named Distance.
In the conversation, Wolfgang mentioned that it has been really hard to keep going following the death of Eddie and said that the only thing that makes him continue is his father because he would be so pissed if Wolfgang would stop.
Here is what Wolfgang Van Halen said:
“I guess I’m a good actor when it comes to pretending that everything is okay. But it’s really not.
What really helps me keep going is my dad, because if I just gave up and stopped and crawled in a hole, which I feel like doing every day, I know he’d be really pissed off at me. He’s the only thing that keeps me going.”
