Former Van Halen bassist and current Mammoth WVH founder Wolfgang Van Halen shared a post on his official Twitter page reacting to a fan who suggested that Wolf’s last name got him where he is today. While the musician admitted his name open doors for him, he didn’t forget to stress that the rest of the job has to be done by him.

As many of you know, there isn’t a day that goes by without a fan blaming Wolfgang Van Halen for milking his father, Eddie Van Halen’s, legacy. Many people enjoy hating Wolfgang for having a successful music career following the disbandment of Van Halen and often claim that his father’s name helped boost his solo career.

Since day one, Wolfgang hasn’t held himself back when responding to the haters mentioned above. While his fans often praise the rocker’s unapologetic attitude, it sometimes brings more judgment to the table.

Regardless of others’ opinions, Van Halen doesn’t stop saying he’ll be clapping back at every hateful comment and that everybody is free to unfollow his social media accounts if they feel uncomfortable with his attitude. While there are countless examples of the Mammoth WVH founder’s comebacks, the recent one is worth seeing as it revealed how he feels about his last name as well.

Recently, Wolfgang Van Halen shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing a fan’s comment in which Wolfgang was accused of being an immature little child with bad mannerisms. Furthermore, that ‘fan’ alleged that Mammoth WVH only got the opportunity to tour with Guns N’ Roses thanks to his famous last name.

After seeing these allegations, the Mammoth WVH frontman couldn’t help himself but reply and state that Guns N’ Roses can fire his band from their tour anytime they like if they feel the need. While admitting that his family name has opened some doors for his solo career, Wolf didn’t forget to mention that he’s the one who’s making the music.

That fan claimed this:

“Wolf Van Halen, you come across like an immature little child with a bad attitude. Grow up. Never forget you went straight to touring with GnR because of your last name.”

Wolfgang’s tweet reads:

“Hey man, they can kick me off the tour anytime they want if it’s no working out. My last name may have opened the door, but it doesn’t keep me here, and it certainly doesn’t write, record, sing, to play the songs for me either. I’m the one doing that. So I kindly suggest you eat my entire ass.”
