On Instagram, Eddie Van Halen‘s son and the current guitarist of Van Halen, Wolfgang clarified his previous explanations about David Lee Roth‘s statements about the future of Eddie’s music.

As you might recall, a few days ago, Van Halen’s iconic frontman David Lee Roth talked about the future of Eddie Van Halen’s music and revealed whether it was possible for him to go on tour again. According to the news of Loudwire, David believed there was a possibility for Eddie to not being able to tour ever again.

As a response to David’s claims, Eddie’s son Wolfgang Van Halen wrote a comment on the Loudwire’s Instagram post. In his comment, Wolf implied that it wasn’t David’s place to make statements about Eddie’s future in music and said:

Yeah, I don’t really think that’s up for him to decide.”

Recently, Wolfgang shared another statement about the issue via Instagram stories and clarified what he meant by his previous comment. Apparently, Wolf’s response targetted the headline of the article which stated ‘DLR Doubts EVH Will Ever Tour Again.’

Here’s what Wolfgang stressed in his recent statement on Instagram:

“Everyone arguing semantics on what I said in that article… It was a response to the headline of ‘DLR Doubts EVH Will Ever Tour Again,’ which is dumb. He has no say in whether my dad tours or not.

Everyone focused on the semantics of ‘he’s not deciding anything for him, kid’ already hate me, and just feel slinging some extra shit my way.”

Additionally, Wolf replied to a comment from an Instagram follower for his response to the article’s headline.

A Van Halen fan named John Shelton wrote:

“1. Dave didn’t say it was his decision to make.

2. Dave is 50% of the reason you were born rich.”

Wolfgang Van Halen replied to the comment via Instagram stories and said:

“Imagine commenting on a six days old post to say this. This dude’s main problem with me is that I exist lol. Sorry for being alive, friend! I’ll try to do better next time.”
