Mammoth WVH founder Wolfgang Van Halen recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and thanked his fans for their appreciation of his recently released single and music video ‘Don’t Back Down‘ which not only hit but actually surpassed 1 million views.
As you may remember, Wolf released his debut song ‘Distance’ in November 2020, upon the passing of his father Eddie as a tribute to him. The track ranked No. 1 on the Billboard charts and was so successful that it even surpassed AC/DC’s new album ‘PWR UP.’ Following that, Wolf announced that he’s started working on his debut album which really excited his fans.
His debut album which will be released under the name Mammoth WVH will be out on June 11, 2021, and is currently available for pre-order. However, aside from this great announcement, Wolf also treated his fans with two brand new singles, ‘Think It Over’ and ‘Don’t Back Down,’ which were released on March 26.
Although fans appreciated both of his new singles, it was ‘Don’t Back Down‘ that surpassed one million views on YouTube first. One of the reasons why this happened was probably because of the music video of the song, which depicts Wolf playing all the instruments and even doing the recording, but also shows some pretty funny conversations between all the “Wolfs.”
Here’s what Wolf said in his recent tweet:
“The ‘Don’t Back Down‘ video just hit 1 million views on YouTube! Thanks so much for watching, y’all, Mammoth WVH.”
