Former Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen shared a post on his official Twitter page replying to a fan’s question about a possible collaboration of former Van Halen frontmen Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth, and apparently, it is something impossible.

As you may know, Wolfgang Van Halen pursued a solo career after Van Halen disbanded due to the passing of the legendary guitarist, also Wolfgang’s father, Eddie Van Halen over two months ago after his long battle with cancer.

Wolfgang recently shared a post on his official Twitter page and asked for his fans to pop a question about his upcoming album. While many fans have asked about touring, songs, and basically the album itself, a particular fan asked Wolfgang if Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth will be on his album.

Here is what Wolfgang stated in his message addressed to his fans on Twitter:

“I have the hiccups and they won’t go away. Help distract me, Twitter. Got any questions about the upcoming MammothWVH album? I’ll answer what I can until they go away”

Here is how one of his fans responded:

“Will Sammy and/or David both sing on it at any time?”

Considering the fact that there has been an infamous rivalry between two former Van Halen frontmen, the possibility of them working together on an album seems quite unlikely. In his response to the fan’s question, Wolfgang also emphasized the impossibility of this expectation by writing ‘no’ in capital letters. Additionally, the fact that he also mentioned he was inhaling deeply before replying was considered as an indication of how exhausted Wolf was due to answering this question many times.

Here’s what Wolf stated about a collaboration of Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth:

“*inhales deeply* ……..NO.”
