The youngest member of Van Halen and the frontman of Mammoth WVH, Wolf Van Halen has taken Twitter to reveal his all-time favorite rock and metal bands that inspire him the most when it comes to how he writes and thinks.

As you know, the son of the late metal legend, Eddie Van Halen, and a newcomer solo artist, Wolfgang Van Halen, has taken over the music industry with his heartwarming new single, ‘Distance,’ dedicated to his father.

Wolfgang, who has been teasing out his upcoming debut solo album for a long while now, came up with his new band called, Mammoth WVH, on November 16, 2020, and signaled the release of his highly-anticipated project.

As Wolf was hinting at what awaits the listeners in the new album on Twitter, he was asked about his favorite bands by a fan. Wolfgang has responded to his follower and named Tool, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Karnivool, Jimmy Eat World, and AC/DC as his top 6.

He continued with another tweet, explaining that he’s not picky and loves all kinds of music, but, these bands are his biggest influences to ignite his creative and intellectual process.

Here’s what the fan of Wolf asked him on Twitter:

“Who are your favorite bands, Wolf?”

Wolfgang has responded as:

“Whew that’s a loaded question, but off the top of my head these are some bands that are very important to me:

Tool, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Karnivool, Jimmy Eat World, AC/DC.”

He continued with another tweet and said:

“Also, I’m not picky. I love all kinds of music, these bands are just some of my biggest influences when it comes to how I write, I think.”
