Dee Snider shared his first message about the first show of Twisted Sister’s comeback tour with Sebastian Bach as the band’s new singer, after Snider decided not to join them on tour due to his health issues.
Snider stepped away from Twisted Sister’s 2026 reunion shows because of ongoing health problems, including degenerative arthritis and heart-related concerns, that make it harder for him to keep performing at the same intensity.
Snider said: “Everybody, it’s me. The coming first show for Twisted Sister without me. I thought it was fitting for me to speak about it. So they are doing the Band Brothers show. It’s going to be this Friday.”
“They got Eddie and JJ, classic lineup members of Twisted Sister. They got Russ Zito on bass guitar, who played with King, great bass player, drummer Joey, great drummer, and they got Sebastian Bach.”
“He’ll be the equivalent of Adam Lambert with Queen. He’s got a better voice than I do, but he loves my voice, will try to give it my attitude because he’s so passionate about it.”
“God bless you guys. Knock them dead. I want another good best for you guys, and I’ll be quietly cheering you on. Love you guys. Good luck.”
Sebastian Bach, the former frontman of Skid Row, has been tapped to front Twisted Sister for the band’s 50th-anniversary reunion dates after Snider’s withdrawal from the live lineup.
Adam Lambert’s partnership with Queen began after he appeared on American Idol, leading to live collaborations that evolved into a full touring arrangement. The pairing has been widely received as a successful fit because Lambert’s range and stage presence allow Queen’s catalog to be performed without trying to replace Freddie Mercury.
