P. Diddy may no longer seem like the celebrity favorite he once was, but his connections continue to grow stronger. Chester Bennington’s son, Jaime, recently shared proof of Mike Shinoda’s connection to the record producer.
Jaime posted several stories on Instagram featuring Shinoda’s earlier social media posts about Diddy. He shared screenshots of posts from both Diddy’s and Shinoda’s accounts, including two from 2010.
“Agreed. Good times. At the Diddy party with Mike Shinoda, Kevin Rose [and] Ev Williams. Good people,” Shinoda had written in a post.
Diddy also posted in 2010: “I Declare Today is Linkin park day!! Pls go BUY to their NEW Song ‘Catalyst!’ It’s having such a spiritual positive effect on my life rt Now!”
In another post, Jaime shared more proof: “About one month before the October release of the ‘Hybrid Theory’ Anniversary box set…” Jaime also shared a screenshot of a post made ten years later, where Linkin Park reposted Diddy’s 2010 message with the caption “Happy Linkin Park Day.”
Jaime then shared his thoughts: “Mike Shinoda and crew are in with Sean Combs. It’s real! Members of Linkin Park + Machine Shop Records have attended at least 2 Diddy parties, one in 2004 and 2010.”
He added: “And the month before the 2020 release of the ‘Hybrid Theory’ Anniversary box set, Linkin Park formally acknowledges Linkin Park Day established by Sean Combs himself in 2010 in promotion of the band’s new single ‘The Catalyst’ off of ‘A Thousand Suns.'”
Since Emily Armstrong joined the band as the new singer, Jaime has been sharing different theories on various topics, including his father’s passing, the band operating secretly, and Shinoda being a ‘pathological liar.‘
