Jared Anderson was a death metal musician best known for his work with Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal. He started his career at 22 and was involved in several influential projects, including his own band, Internecine. Despite his contributions to the metal scene, his career was cut short in 2006. His death raised questions about his struggles with substance abuse and who inherited his estate.
Jared Anderson’s Cause of Death

Anderson struggled with drug abuse, which became public in 2003 when he left Hate Eternal. At the time, he admitted, “Due to a continuous ongoing drug problem for the last couple of years, I’ve committed myself to rehabilitation.” He stated that he needed time to recover and could not continue in the band. “I will be leaving Hate Eternal due to the time and dedication it’s taking to get myself back on the right track. It’s the right thing to do for I cannot be responsible for holding the band back.”
On October 14, 2006, Anderson passed away in his sleep. There was no cause of death given, but due to his previous statements about substance abuse, it might be related to that.
Before his death, Anderson started a new project called As One… with Steve Tucker of Morbid Angel. His final recorded work was a guest appearance on The Allknowing’s cover of ‘Ace of Spades,’ which was released online in 2007.
Who Inherited Jared Anderson’s Money?

At the time of his death, Anderson was not married, and there were no public records of children. His estate was most likely inherited by his parents, Jannitta and Reggie Anderson, who lived in Covington, Kentucky.
Anderson’s career was brief, but his influence in death metal remains. Hate Eternal honored him by dedicating their 2008 album, ‘Fury & Flames,’ to his memory.
