Kid Rock has started a countdown for a major announcement.

The singer shared a post on X, saying, “A few of us had the balls to call out the BS when it was going down and took a lot of sh*t from the far-left lunatics and media. My oh my how the tides have turned!”

He added, “I still feel this is no time to gloat, but see no wrong in celebrating!!!….Big announcement coming on my B-day this Friday, Jan 17th!…make note if you want to celebrate with us – https://kidrocktouring.com – Kid Rock.”

Along with his post, Rock also shared YouTube links to his songs, ‘We The People’ and ‘Don’t Tell Me How To Live.’

The countdown on Rock’s website shows there are three days and four hours remaining until his announcement. According to Axios, Kid Rock will perform with Carrie Underwood at Donald Trump’s inaugural celebrations this weekend, but it is unclear if his upcoming announcement is related to that.

Rock is set to join Trump’s ‘Victory Rally’ on Sunday at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Rock has previously called Trump a ‘great friend’ and supported him early in his 2016 presidential campaign.

“I’m digging Donald Trump,” Rock told Rolling Stone in 2016, even before the Republican primaries began. “My feeling: Let the business guy run it like a business. And his campaign has been entertaining as sh*t.”

Kid Rock will headline the 2025 Rock The Country Festival alongside Nickelback, as reported by Blabbermouth. The tour kicks off on April 4 in Livingston, Louisiana, and wraps up on July 26 in Anderson, South Carolina. They will also perform at the Rock The South festival from June 19-21 in Cullman, Alabama.
