Nergal teased a major Behemoth update, but access comes at a price.
The frontman, known for his Patreon content, shared a video message on Instagram, with the caption, “Patreon members! Note 30th Jan in your calendars. 6PM CET we meet! A link to sign up in the stories and in bio. This sh*t is about to hit the fan…”
In the video, Nergal didn’t give away any details about the update but reminded fans to mark January 30 on their calendars. He had previously confirmed in December 2023 that new Behemoth music is in the works.
He told the Everblack podcast, “Well, the plan is to focus on Behemoth mainly next year. I’m doing like a short run with [my folk side project] Me And That Man late March, early April and that’s it. And all the rest, it’s gonna be dedicated like full-on Behemoth.”
“There’s new music. Next question,” the singer said when asked about new Behemoth music. “I have no Me And That Man music in me for some reason anymore. Eventually it’s gonna come back. It’s like tides — it’s off and on and off and on, and when it happens, you’ve gotta catch that tide, that wave and just jump on it and surf. But there’s no surfing now for Me And That Man. There’s surfing for Behemoth for sure.”
In December 2024, Behemoth released a one-minute teaser titled ‘T.S.O.G.,’ featuring religious imagery to hint at upcoming music. The teaser included vocals from unreleased tracks. Their last album, ‘Opvs Contra Natvram,’ was released in September 2022.
The band also announced a European tour with Satyricon and Rotting Christ this year, set to begin on April 4 in Vienna and conclude on April 27 in Prague. They will visit cities including Berlin, Zurich, Paris, London, and Helsinki.
