Noel Gallagher has had his first ‘interview’ since the announcement of the Oasis reunion.
Fan Steve Sheward posted a video showing the moment he and his kids bumped into the rocker at the Stone Island store in London. Sheward tells his kids that the man they were seeing was part of a ‘legendary band,’ while his oldest daughter asks, “Wait, is he getting back with his brother?”
One of his kids then playfully asks Noel why he had a falling out with Liam. “Why did I fall out with him? Because he stole my teddy bear,” he responded. When the children started laughing, Noel continued: “I’m not lying. He stole it in 1978.”
On August 27, the band announced that they were reuniting. They won’t be headlining Glastonbury or playing 10 shows at Wembley and the Etihad Stadium, as some rumors suggested. Instead, they will visit stadiums in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin in July and August.
As for why the brothers are reuniting, a press release mentioned there wasn’t a single big moment that triggered it—just a growing feeling that it was the right time.
The recently shared video comes as Oasis added three more dates to their 2025 stadium tour because of ‘unprecedented demand’ after the ticket pre-sale registration. They also extended the deadline to confirm pre-sale entries to 10 a.m. UK time on Friday, after some fans worried they had not received responses.
