Sebastian Bach took to X to express his support for Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris.

“I have done my research & I am endorsing Taylor Swift,” the former Skid Row frontman posted, while sharing his 2024 song Freedom.

Following the Harris-Trump presidential debate, Swift voiced her support for Harris on Instagram. “Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most,” she said.

The musician elaborated, “As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country. Recently, I was made aware that AI falsely posted an endorsement from ‘me’ supporting Donald Trump’s presidential run on his site. It really stirred up my concerns about AI and the dangers of misinformation.”

“It made me realize that I need to be very clear about my actual voting plans,” Taylor explained further. “The simplest way to combat misinformation is by sharing the truth.”

“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for Harris because she champions the causes I believe need a strong voice. I believe she’s a steady, capable leader, and I think we can accomplish far more in this country if we are led by calmness, not chaos,” Swift wrote.

She also praised Walz, saying, “I was truly encouraged and impressed by Harris’ choice of running mate, Tim Walz, who has long supported LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s reproductive rights.”

“I’ve done my research and made my choice. The research is yours to do, and the decision is yours to make,” she encouraged her fans. “To first-time voters: Remember, to vote, you need to be registered! I also find it’s easier to vote early. I’ll link registration info and early voting dates in my story. With love and hope.”

Swift signed the post using the nickname ‘Childless Cat Lady,’ a nod to comments from Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, who had called prominent Democrats, including Harris, “a bunch of childless cat ladies miserable in their own lives.” Vance later claimed his comments were sarcastic.
