In a recent Instagram video, Ted Nugent’s wife, Shemane, shared her thoughts on the causes of the Los Angeles wildfires.

“There was a lot of coincidences that… you know what they say about coincidences, why wasn’t there any water?” she began in her video.

Shemane continued, “Why did the water get shut off? And you’ve got Malibu burning. Isn’t Malibu next to the ocean? Don’t we have drones, wasn’t there on the East Coast? They have drones coming out of the water. They should do something, right?”

She also questioned, “Where is Elon? Couldn’t he make it right? There is just too many things that don’t make sense and at the heart of this, a lot of people are suffering. People and animals. I saw a video of a guy, leading horses down the street, and behind him was just a wall of fire.”

The wildfires in Los Angeles have impacted several rock musicians, including Tommy Lee, Scott Ian, Brad Wilk, Joe Bonamassa, and others, many of whom were forced to evacuate. Tommy Lee’s wife, Brittany Furlan, shared updates on her Instagram stories.

“We were evacuated last night. The fire is 0% contained. Praying for a miracle,” Furlan said, along with a video showing her neighborhood.

Scott Ian also expressed gratitude to the Los Angeles Fire Department, writing, “Sending all our love to the men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Over and over you risk your lives to save ours and I can’t thank you enough. Tonight is going to be a hellish night for so many. Stay safe my friends, that’s all that matters. Thank you to everyone that has been reaching out – Pearl, Revel, Grizzly and I evacuated and we’re safe.”

Joe Bonamassa shared his thoughts on the situation, saying, “It’s not in my hands anymore. A very hard place to be as a curator. It’s my lifetime of work. I knew this day would come eventually but just not today. So far so good tonight but the situation is very fluid. A major thanks to the firefighters and first responders for giving it their all these past few days. Stay safe Los Angeles.. These are uncertain and unprecedented times.”

The wildfires, fueled by strong winds, have caused widespread destruction across Los Angeles. According to Fox 11 Los Angeles, the largest fire in Pacific Palisades burned 16,000 acres, while another fire in Altadena claimed five lives. The winds, reported to be the strongest since 2011, have made containment efforts even more challenging.
