Poison drummer Rikki Rockett discussed the possibility of the band reuniting for another tour with all original members, including frontman Bret Michaels, during a recent interview on the “Get on the Bus” YouTube channel.

When asked, “Is there another Poison tour coming up?” Rockett responded, “I hope so. I’m ready to do. I think it’s time that Poison does a tour.”

He continued, “You know, I can’t think of a better reason except we’re all here, you know? We’re all alive. Let’s do this thing. You know what I mean?”

Rockett also revealed that discussions have already begun behind the scenes. “So you know we’ve been in talks through management about it. I think we’ll have a better answer in the next week or two actually.”

Rockett’s comments suggest that Poison’s management is exploring a possible reunion, but Bret Michaels’ current health situation could affect the band’s plans.

Michaels postponed tour dates in July after doctors diagnosed him with a complicated obstructing kidney stone that required immediate surgery. Reports later indicated that the singer needed additional time to recover from recent procedures.

Michaels attempted to return to the stage on August 21 in Sugar Hill, Georgia. However, doctors subsequently advised him to take an extended period of rest, leading him to cancel all remaining 2026 solo dates.

One of the canceled performances was Michaels’ scheduled August 28 appearance at Grand Casino Hinckley in Minnesota. The cancellation was part of a broader decision to remove him from the road while he continues his recovery.

Poison’s most recent major tour together was The Stadium Tour in 2022, which also featured Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. The trek marked a rare full-scale return for Poison and gave fans the chance to see the band’s classic lineup perform together.

Rockett has since pointed to 2027 as a possible target for Poison’s next full tour. In an interview with Rock Celebrities, he said, “But hopefully 2027 is the real answer,” while explaining that the band is still waiting for a clearer commitment.

Michaels’ team has indicated that he intends to return to performing after doctors clear him. Until then, Poison’s reunion plans remain uncertain, although Rockett’s comments suggest that the band members and their management have not closed the door on a future tour.
